June 10, 2015 Town Board Meeting
Minutes from the May meeting were read and a motion was made by Roger and seconded by Leif to accept them. Roger made a motion to approve the renewal of Horton Insurance as the Town’s insurance carrier. Seconded by Leif. Motion carried by a vote of 3-0. Leif made a motion that an outdoor sign be put up at Dock on Du Bay to post town notices. Seconded by Roger Motion carried. Leif made a motion that Pro Septic Service be hired to pump the holding tanks. Seconded by Roger.
John Eron gave a presentation on Leafy Spurge an invasive weeds that is almost impossible to get rid of. He would like anyone who spots this weed to call him at 715 498 5222.
Leif made a motion to deny the recommendation by the Plan Commission to give Mr. Cheng a variance for his culvert. Seconded by Roger. Motion carried by a vote of 3-0. It was decided to ditch Long Road, and then do Pine Road, then Maple Road. Jerry Skrzeczkoski was awarded the bid for putting in culverts and cleaning out the ditches for the town. The motion was made by Leif and seconded by Roger. The bid was $75.00 an hour. A meeting will be held Tuesday, June 16th to decide on some specs for the grader that is to be purchased.
The driveway that was put into Ralph Albert’s property was discussed. This was done without the whole Town Board’s approval as was the decision to recap tires for the grader and change Jeff’s hours from 4-10 hour days to 5 8-hour days. Jack made a motion to pay the bills and to adjourn. Seconded by Roger. Motion carried.

Meeting called to order by Chairperson Kawleski. At this meeting the board is to decide on the specs for the grader they want to purchase. First on the agenda is the confirmation of the hiring of Ricky Pitcher as an attendant at the
recycling Center. Leif made the motion for the confirmation. It was seconded by Roger.
Jim Borski, who is a land owner in the Town and the City of Wisconsin Rapids Public Works Superintendent, gave the Board some requirements that the city uses when purchasing a grader. Supervisor Erickson when over the requirements with the salesmen from Cat and John Deere and the other Board members. Leif made a motion that on the July 8th board meeting the board will open the bids and decide on how the town will finance buying the grader. Seconded by Roger. Motion carried by a vote of 3-0.
