Ordinance Establishing Split Shifts for Election Officials

ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SPLIT SHIFTS FOR ELECTION OFFICIALS                                                                STATE OF WISCONSIN                                                                                                                                                          Town of Eau Pleine                                                                                                                                             Portage County

The town board of the town of Eau Pleine, Portage County, Wisconsin has the specific authority unders.7.30(1) Wis.stats.to adopt this ordinance.

 

This ordinance, adopted by a majority of the town board on a roll call vote with a quorum present and voting and proper notices having been given, provides for the selection of 2 (or more) sets of officials to work at different times on each election day as follows;

A.     There shall be 2 shifts for election workers on all election days. The first shift shall commence at 7 a.m. and end at 1 p.m. the second shift shall commence at 1 p.m. and end with completion of all required election day duties that follow the closure of the polls.

The ordinance is effective on publication and posting.

 

The town clerk shall post or publish this ordinance as required  under s.60.8/0. Wis. stats
