In Wisconsin, permits are required for fireworks that explode or leave the ground, such as firecrackers, Roman candles, bottle rockets, and mortars.

As 167.10(3)(a) states, "No person may possess or use fireworks without a user’s permit from the mayor of the city, president of the village or chairperson of the town in which the possession or use is to occur or from a person designated by the mayor, president or chairperson to issue a user’s permit."
To obtain approval for proper fireworks usage, please email the completed permit application below to the Town Chairperson. Alternatively, you may make arrangements with the Town Chairperson to submit this form in person.
