The Town's garbage and recycling collection center, located on the north side of Highway H across from the Town Hall, accepts general household garbage and recycling from Town of Eau Pleine residents only.
The operating hours are every Saturday from 8:00am - 2:00pm.
Garbage must be in clear or white trash bags. No black trash bags are allowed.
Please save your large disposal items for Spring and Fall Cleanup days, which are held each year on the 2nd Saturday in May and the 2nd Saturday in October from 7:00am - 3:00pm.
Electronics and appliances with freon are never accepted at the Town of Eau Pleine disposal site. Items Accepted on Spring and Fall Cleanup Days and Disposal Fees:
- Push lawn mower, rotor tiller, snow blowers - $15 each
- Furniture (mattresses, box springs, recliners, and sofas) - $15 each
- Florescent bulbs - $1 each
- Stoves, washers, dryers, water heaters - $15 each
- Microwaves - $20 each
- Passenger and light truck tires - $5 each without rim, $6 each with rim
- Semi truck tires - $20 each without rim, $30 each with rim
- Super single truck tires - $20 each
- Motorcycle, lawn, ATV, UTV tires = $3 each
- Agricultural tires:
- 0-75 lbs - $30 each
- 76-150 lbs - $40 each
- 151-225 lbs - $50 each
- 226-300 lbs - $60 each
- 301+ lbs - $85 per ton
NOTICE: The Town of Eau Pleine recycling center is now under 24 hour video monitoring. Do not drop off items when the center is unattended.
