Notice is being given that at the October 14, 2026, Town Board Meeting, the Town Board Chair and two Supervisors voted in favor of increasing the tax levy by $27,632 to compensate for an increase in fire and EMS protection services for 2027. Resolution No. 2026-03 was approved (click here to view the resolution). This resolution does not mean that the taxy levy has now been increased. It is only the first step in the process of raising the tax levy. The town electors (residents of the Town of Eau Pleine who are eligible to vote) will need to show up and vote to accept or reject this resolution at 5:30 PM on November 11, 2026, at the Special Town Elector Budget Meeting.
